TONY KUBAT
At the point Tony graduated with honors at Brooks Institute (Santa Barbara, CA), he had already made preliminary plans to open his own studio shooting fashion, glamour, cosmetics in Hollywood…his wife Mary Kay wanted to move back home to Minnesota (guess who won). After several years as Director of Photography for a national cookbook publisher in Minnesota, Tony founded Tony Kubat Photography in 1990. Tony has developed an extensive client list utilizing his characteristic lighting techniques. With more than 31 years of professional experience, Tony Kubat has established a standard of excellence for style and design. Tony and Mary Kay recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.
